I just moved to a new house and last weekend, I decided to invite a friend and his male partner…well, lover… to come over and spend the night. I am not exactly a fag hag but yes, I do have few friends who are of a different sexual persuasion. You know the saying…It Takes All Kind…. besides, they are fun to be with. Girl, if you don’t know one, I suggest you go out and find one for yourself.
Anyway, the duo came and spent the night in the guest room. The next day however, the lover… unabashedly shared some info with me over breakfast.
“We all dah resmikan your new bed last night”, he said in a matter-of-fact way.
I froze to the ground. Literally. The first thing that came to mind was to spray him with an acid, which I used to clean the bathroom. It wasn’t the fact that he had raped the virginity of my new bed, & bedspreads…but rather the shameless admission of his nocturnal activity which should be kept personal and out of respect for my friend…. his lover. Now, if he had a wife—I doubt he would go around and tell his host the next morning, “We f*cked like rabbits last night”.
This makes me think. Do gays generally take the sanctity of their relationships with such frivolous care? Don’t their lovers deserve the same kind of respect, as do heterosexual couples? Haven’t there been enough stereotypes about gays already but to add another one to the list? Hmmm…I don’t know; this one obviously is out of my league.
All I do know is….there are gays and there fags. The one above belongs to the latter.
