Smokers Unwanted

I just dont get it. Whatever makes a person think that he can come to my house and simply lights up a cigarette? And to make it worse, litter the balcony with cigarette butts? Ugh!

Whoever gives him the carte blanc to do it?

This is one of few times I become speechless. I feel like putting up a sign on the balcony that says "you can smoke to death but not here". I feel like putting up a sign on the front door that says "you are entering a non-smoking zone". I feel like wearing a t-shirt that says "I am pregnant. My baby appreciates you dont blow smokes on my face".

There is this friend of mine, whose boyfriend keeps on smoking on the balcony everytime they come for a visit. And everytime he does that, he puts on a devillish grin on his face like there is nothing I can do about it. I think it is just a matter of time before I say it lah. That if he needs to smoke, he needs to go down to the compound below and squat there.

Dont smokers know that we detest the smell of smoke in our house? It sticks to the sofa, to the wall and in my head! It is not that I am prohibiting them from smoking but let's not do it in an enclosed space. Especially when the enclosed space is someone else's house.

Is that too much to ask for?
